Mont.Black was born from the belief that the snowsports products currently available to consumers are unimaginative and poorly engineered. We aim to change this, producing reliable innovations using precision engineering and cutting edge technologies in our design process.

MATERIAL SELECTION

We utilise smart material selection programmes to optimise our poles, minimising cost and weight while maximising strength.

STRENGTH ANALYSIS​

Further analysis programmes and real world tests simulate the poles use over a lifetime and optimise the geometry, helping us walk the line between light weight and robustness while remaining reliable in the long run.

RAPID PROTOTYPING​

3D printing is used continually throughout our design process to design, test and develop each prototype. This enables us to produce hundreds of iterations and perfect each component individually.

METALIC 3D PRINTING​

Industrial scale SLS 3D printing is used for many of our intricate internal metal parts. This allows us to produce parts and achieve results that wouldn't have been possible with traditional methods. It also enables us to produce small batches at low costs and pass the savings on to you.
